ABOUT SARAWAK HEAR

 

Sarawak HEAR is a society founded by people who are personally and professionally involve in the works that aimed at helping individuals suffering from hearing loss to gain the ability to hear, speak, learn, and live life to the fullest possible, through the help of hearing devices like hearing aids and hearing implants, and with appropriate but persistant rehabilitation by professionals and most importantly by and with family involvement.

Sarawak HEAR's Objectives:



To act as resource centre in providing the support and to create awareness on the importance of hearing as one of the main human senses, also to provide information to individuals suffering from hearing loss on device options that can help to restore their hearing but apprppriate to their level and type of hearing loss. On top of that, also to provide avenue for these individuals to get the neccesary rehabilitation through therapy sessions by professional therapists, and ultimate to train family members to perform the therapy on their own in a family setting!
